Sunnats of Ruku (Males)
1. When you have completed the recitation of Surah Faatihah
and the qiraat, repeat the takbeer, and without raising your
hands, go into ruku.
Note: The takbeeraat-e-intiqaaliyyah (takbeer which is
recited when moving from one posture to another) should be
commenced as soon as one begins moving to the next
posture and should only be completed when one reaches that
posture.

اللَّهُمَّ أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِي إِلَيْكَ، وَوَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِي إِلَيْكَ،
وَفَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِي إِلَيْكَ، وَأَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي إِلَيْكَ، رَغْبَةً
وَرَهْبَةً إِلَيْكَ، لاَ مَلْجَأَ وَلاَ مَنْجَا مِنْكَ إِلَّا إِلَيْكَ، آمَنْتُ
بِكِتَابِكَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلْتَ، وَبِنَبِيِّكَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلْتَ
O Allâh, I have entrusted my life to You, turned my face to You,
entrusted all my affairs to You, and have totally placed my reliance
on You. All this I do to gain Your mercy and out of fear for Your
punishment. There is no protection from Your wrath except through
Your mercy. I believe in Your book which You have revealed and in
Your apostle which You have sent.

Hazrat Anas (Radiyallahu anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said, “When a
person performs all his salaah on their prescribed times with proper
wudhu, and correctly fulfills (all the postures in the correct manner
such as) the qiyaam, the concentration and devotion, the ruku and
sajdah, then the salaah rises up in a bright and beautiful form saying to
him, ‘May Allah Ta'ala safeguard you as you have safeguarded me.’
