Khanqah Akhtari

People criticize me, abuse me, slander me, label me as an enemy of the nation, enemy of Muslims and Islam.
 
Let it be well understood I am not capable of makhlooq-parasti (worshipping people). I cannot shift from my Maslak and Mashrab for even a second. I cannot transgress the Shari'ah by even an inch. Neither can I move ahead of the Shari'ah nor trail behind.
 
It is the Fadhl and Rahmah of Allah Ta'ala and the Dua of my seniors that the Shari'ah has become my nature, I have no power to transgress it. You (modernists) are engrossed in the fikr of the dunya, and I am engrossed in the fikr of the Aakhirah.
 
We both are shackled. While I am the prisoner of Mahboob (Allah Ta'ala, The Beloved), you are the prisoner of worldly and nafsaani motives.
