بھلا جانے  کیا  جام ومینا ئے    عالم   ترا  کیف اے خوش خرام مدینہ

Bhaalaajaanekyaajaamomeena-e-aalam, terakaif ay kushkhiraameMadeena.

مدینہ کی گلیوں میں ہر اک قدم پر                ہو مد نظر احترام مدینہ

Madeenaki  gal-yo (n) me(n) harikqadam par, ho madden azar ihtiraameMadeena.

Every footstep (when one takes) in the lanes and streets of Madeena, (should be taken whilst) considering the sanctity of Madeena.

مدیینہ مدینہ مدیینہ مدینہ         بڑا  لطف دیتا ہے نام مدینہ

Madeena, Madeena, Madeena, Madeena, baralutfdeta he naa-me Madeena

Madeena! Madeena! Madeena! Madeena! What joy is felt when one utters the mere name of Madeena!

نگاہوں میں سلطانیت ہئچ ہوگیی                   جو پائے گا دل میں  پیام مدینہ

Nigaaho(n) me(n) sultaaniyathechhogee, jo paa-e-gadil me(n) payaameMadeena.

The greatness (and importance) of this world falls from sight when a person accepts within his heart the message of Madeena (Quraan and Sunnah).

سکون جہاں تم کہاں ڈھونڈتے ہو                  سکون جہاں ہے نظام مدینہ

Sukoonejahaa(n) tum kahaa(n) dhoo(n)d-teho, sukoonejahaa(n) he nizaameMadeena.

Where are you searching for contentment of heart? Contentment of heart is to be found in the system of Madeena (Quraan and Sunnah.)

ہو آزاد اختر غم دو جہاں سے            جو ہوجائے دل سے غلام مدینہ

Hoazaad Akhtar ghame do jahaa(n) se, jo hojaa-e dil se ghulaameMadeena.

O! Akhtar, one frees oneself from the sorrows of both worlds if one becomes a true slave of Madeena.
