Sunnats when a child is born

To give a suitable name to the child on the 7th day. (Abu Dawood vol.2 pg.36)

To make Aqeeqah on the 7th day. (Abu Dawood pg.36 vol.2) If it cannot be done on the 7th day, it should be done on the 14th or 21st day.
