A person gains the closeness of Allah Ta'ala when he is tempted to sin but breaks his desire and obeys the command of Allah Ta'ala. This is when a Tsunami of the love of Allah Ta'ala fills the heart. When the heart is broken then the Fadhl of Allah Ta'ala enters the crevises of the heart.

When the heart is not broken then Tilaawat of the Quraan Sharif comes on top of the heart. When a person has great desire to go onto the porn sites, listen to the cricket and soccer commentary or scores but breaks the desire of the heart, then the Fadhl of Allah Ta'ala enters the crevises of the heart. This is when a person gets to know what enjoyment of the love of Allah Ta'ala is.

These lovers of Allah experience great enjoyment in Makkah and Madinah Sharif yet others that are not lovers of Allah complain of the dust. These lovers of Allah Ta'ala don’t even take notice of the construction work. How many people sit in the hotel throughout the day and go to the dining hall, sit and backbite of others, etc. because of the construction going on in Makkah Sharif. They wonder as to where are these people attaining enjoyment from when there is so much of dust and construction work going on. How are they deriving enjoyment in the Zikr of Allah Ta'ala and talks of Allah Ta'ala. This is an easy way to attain the love and closeness to Allah Ta'ala.
