Dua for protection from ostentation

To be recited daily
In one Majlis Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam told Sahaaba Radiallahu Anhuma, “If a pitch black ant moves on a pitch black night on a pitch black stone, nobody will hear the movement of the ant, neither will anyone see the ant. More secretly than that will ostentation enter the hearts of people yet they will be totally unaware.
If a person does not have sincerity, then the A’mal of a person will be washed away. So Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Radiallahu Anhu said, “Oh messenger of Allah Ta’ala, in that case we will all be destroyed.” The Salaah, Zakaat, Haj, Charity, carried out during one’s lifetime will be destroyed.
Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam taught them (Sahaaba Radiallahu Anhuma) a Dua to recite which will protect them from all forms of ostentation.
The Dua is as follows,
