Duroods of Jummah

It is recorded in a Hadith that he who reads the following Durud 1000 times on the day of Jumu’ah, will not die until he sees his abode in Jannat (Jazbul Quloob – Azkaarul Jumu’ah pg.165)

اَلّلهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِهِ اَلْفَ اَلْفَ مَرَّةٍ

Eighty years rewards earned & eighty years sins forgiven

Hadrat Abu Hurairah R.A. reports that Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, “Whoever remains seated after the Asr Salaah on Friday, and before rising from his seating place recites the following Durud eighty times, then eighty years of his (minor) sins will be forgiven and the reward equivalent to the worship of eighty years will be recorded for him (in his account of deeds).   اَللّهُمَّ ًصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِّ نِ النَّبِىِّ الْاُمِّيِ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَسَلِّمْ تَسْلِىْمًا

The shortest Durud that the Sahaaba R.A. should read is:-

صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
